The Trinidad Chambliss selection is the head-turner. The Steelers reached 45 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered.

The interior defensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer. They will answer for taking offensive lineman early while interior defensive lineman, safety and other spots went begging. The roster is better shaped than it was, with quarterback chief among the fixes.

They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but interior defensive lineman.
