Skattebo should have been long gone. The Jets pounced, and earned a B+.

This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Cam Skattebo, the No. 105 name on the board, stolen at Round 5, Pick 7. Good, not great, and the B+ says as much.

That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Tank Dell gives the group a proven body among the projects.

It is a bet on later, and a defensible one for a team playing the long game.
