The rest of the league will want that one back. Hollin Pierce tumbling to the Vikings in pick No. 187 is a gift they did not have to think twice about. It nets out to a B, which feels about right.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it.

The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September.
