The Rams let Whittington fall into their laps, and walked away with a B. The rest of the league will want that one back. Jordan Whittington tumbling to the Rams in the 249th overall pick is a gift they did not have to think twice about. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.
For all the activity, running back went untouched, which is hard to explain. Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September.
They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.
A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
