The Rams did not so much draft Nelson Ceaser as overpay for him, 45 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend. This is how you run a draft, and the A- reflects it.

Hadden at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast.

The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

Bottom line, with Cooper DeJean leading the way, this is a class that should pay off fast and rarely be regretted.
