You build a draft on nights like this. Tre Harris had no business being available in the 233rd pick, and the Bears did the only sane thing and turned in the card.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. For all the activity, linebacker went untouched, which is hard to explain. The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes.

Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.

It is a haul that will look even better come September.
