The Dolphins went off the board in a big way for Jeff Caldwell, 80 picks early. Conviction is one thing; this is another. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Johnson at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
