Larceny in pick 218 lands the Chargers a B, Singleton and all.

Somebody in Round 7, Pick 2 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Chargers sat still while Nicholas Singleton, the No. 97 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

If Rivers pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

They went 4 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for. They trusted the board more than the depth chart.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
