Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Quinshon Judkins got past him. The Bears do not have to explain a thing at the 150th pick. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

The Moore pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The Bears paired the rookies with proven help, Ryan Kelly leading the way.

On the needs board they went 5 of 8, with interior defensive lineman the one that mattered most.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
