For all the names on the card, the loudest question went unanswered. The 49ers walked out of the weekend still thin at running back, a hole that has a way of deciding seasons. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took McCoy. Offensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.

In the 27th overall pick they get a press-man option on the boundary at a price that makes it sweeter. Need was not the driver here.
Pick58 Rnd2 Emmanuel McNeil-Warren
Emmanuel McNeil-Warren in pick 58 lands just on the right side of the ledger. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
Pick127 Rnd4 Jude Bowry
A tidy little value on Jude Bowry in slot 127, a step better than break-even. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.

DeMonte Capehart at the 133rd pick is right where the board had him, plain and simple. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
