The steal of the weekend belongs to the 49ers and Lew: B.

When a board-topper like Connor Lew slides to the 127th overall pick, you do not overthink it, and the 49ers did not.

Leaving running back unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The roster is better shaped than it was, with offensive lineman chief among the fixes. Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
