Draft Grade — Browns
Overall B
ValueB NeedB TradesC FutureA+
Grand theft in the 187th overall pick: the Browns steal Cypress II and grade out a B.

You can draft well and still miss the point. The Browns did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to quarterback, which was the need that mattered most. No fireworks, but a solid B.

Landing Cypress II that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. The dealing tilted against them, just enough to notice.

The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.

Pick Analysis
Pick27 Rnd1 Tyleik Williams
In the 27th pick they get a pocket-collapsing interior rusher at fair value. A real need, handled.
Pick91 Rnd3 Jonah Monheim
Nothing to complain about; Jonah Monheim went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick187 Rnd6 Fentrell Cypress II
Fentrell Cypress II at No. 187 is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
