The 49ers got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the D-.

The 49ers looked at the value chart, folded it up, and took Caleb Rogers at the 216th pick regardless, 118 picks early. A weekend that fought the value and lost, hence the D-.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Smith.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, quarterback very much included.
