Nothing loud, just a tidy B+ for the Jets. Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Jets spent pick 178 on Patrick Payton, a name the board had a full 37 spots lower. Good, not great, and the B+ says as much.
Adding Terrel Bernard by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies. Getting Muhammad where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.
The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September.
In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
