The Eagles let Smith fall and pounced. Final grade: D+.

Every swap seemed to tilt away from the Eagles, and the value they bled adds up to real damage.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher. Reaching for Thornton Jr. left real value on the table behind him. However the rest shakes out, Smith at that price is a win they earned.

Cornerback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, edge rusher very much included.
