Draft Grade — Packers
Overall B-
ValueC+ NeedB+ TradesB- FutureB-
No fireworks, just a tidy B- for the Packers.

The Packers treated their own grade as gospel and everyone else's as noise, spending Round 7, Pick 31 on Evan Williams a full 55 spots early.

On value alone, Worthy makes the weekend a net positive. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up.

Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.

Pick Analysis
Pick25 Rnd1 Chop Robinson
In pick No. 25 they get juice off the edge, even if it was a touch early. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick41 Rnd2 Jackson Powers-Johnson
Jackson Powers-Johnson at slot 41 is a clear overpay, with better names still on the board. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick57 Rnd2 Kris Jenkins
Nice patience on Kris Jenkins, who had no business lasting to No. 57. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick88 Rnd3 Xavier Worthy
They will replay Xavier Worthy at the 88th overall pick for years; that is how good the value is. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick91 Rnd3 Max Melton
Max Melton at the 91st pick is an overdraft of the loud, memorable kind. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick126 Rnd4 Jaden Hicks
Steal is underselling it; Jaden Hicks at pick 126 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
Pick168 Rnd5 Jaylen Wright
Jaylen Wright at pick 168 nudges the ledger their way without any fuss. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick203 Rnd6 Christian Jones
They paid sticker price for Christian Jones in slot 203, and that is fine. The roster fit checks out.
Pick216 Rnd6 Darius Muasau
A swing that ignored the value entirely, Darius Muasau well ahead of where he belonged. It adds depth where they could use a little.
Pick243 Rnd7 Isaac Guerendo
They left a pile of value on the table to take Isaac Guerendo this early at Round 7, Pick 23. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick251 Rnd7 Evan Williams
A wild overpay on Evan Williams in the 251st pick, the sort that defines a class for the wrong reasons. Insurance at a position that did not really ask for it.
