The Cardinals did the meat-and-potatoes work well: B.

The Cardinals' one glaring miss is quarterback, a need they left exactly as they found it. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

However the rest shakes out, Fiske at that price is a win they earned. The cost of the Mahogany reach is exactly the players who went right after him. It is a bet on later, and a defensible one for a team playing the long game.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.
