Draft Grade — Rams

Larceny in pick No. 190 lands the Rams a B, Tuten and all. The rest of the league will want that one back. Bhayshul Tuten tumbling to the Rams in No. 190 is a gift they did not have to think twice about. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.
If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through safety. They will need White III to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.
Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 5 of 8 of the wish list covered. They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.
Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
Pick Analysis
Pick26
Rnd1
Tyler Warren
In pick 26 they get a mismatch in the passing game, and a steal at that. A real need, handled.
Pick90
Rnd3
Jayden Higgins
The board fumbled Jayden Higgins all the way to No. 90, and they scooped it up. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick101
Rnd3
Carson Schwesinger
A top-tier linebacker at a bargain, Carson Schwesinger in the 101st pick, plain and simple. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
Pick127
Rnd4
Anthony Belton
Value with a capital V on Anthony Belton in the Round 4 slot, a genuine coup. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick190
Rnd6
Bhayshul Tuten
Bhayshul Tuten in slot 190 should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick195
Rnd6
Jason Marshall Jr.
By-the-book stuff, Jason Marshall Jr. at the 195th overall pick squarely in line with his ranking. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
Pick201
Rnd6
Nazir Stackhouse
They took Nazir Stackhouse at par in Round 6, Pick 25, which is nothing to complain about. It fills a real need, too.
Pick202
Rnd6
Ricky White III
A conviction pick on Ricky White III at pick No. 202 that the board grades a round light. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
