The Broncos looked at the value chart, folded it up, and took Jayson Jones at No. 242 regardless, 54 picks early. A D that will need time and luck to look better.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. Drake Maye gives the offense a face and a plan, and the grade leans heavily on whether he hits.

Worthy at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.
