They will call it conviction in the building and a reach everywhere else: Seth McLaughlin, 40 picks early at No. 194. It nets out a thoroughly average C.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. Alexander at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

So much rides on Kenneth Grant that the real verdict is a season or two away.
