The 49ers clearly saw something nobody else did in Oluwafemi Oladejo, taking him 98 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

The Thornton Jr. value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
