The 49ers cashed the board's mistake on Phillips: B.

Whoever sat across the table from the 49ers should ask for a receipt. They cleaned the room out, prying loose far more value than they gave up, and it was the quiet MVP of their weekend.

The Phillips pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. The cost of the Bassa reach is exactly the players who went right after him. They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
