Barton should have been long gone. The Broncos pounced, and earned a A-. This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Lander Barton, the No. 127 name on the board, stolen at the 227th pick. It holds up to a second look, which is why it earns the A-.
The cost of the Broughton reach is exactly the players who went right after him. They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own.
They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up.
Bottom line, with Tetairoa McMillan leading the way, this is a class that should pay off fast and rarely be regretted.
