The steal of the weekend belongs to the Titans and Williams: A-.

Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Isaiah Williams got past him. The Titans do not have to explain a thing at slot 228. Very little went wrong, and the A- is earned.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. They will need Gray to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

Leaving running back unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

Add it up and this is about as clean as a draft weekend gets.

Olumuyiwa Fashanu at Round 1, Pick 13 is a sound buy, the sort that quietly helps a class. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.

Troy Franklin slid further than he should have, and No. 40 is lovely value for the wide receiver. A need, and now a little less of one.

A market-rate offensive lineman, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Jackson Powers-Johnson. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.

No drama and no debate, Khyree Jackson went about where he belonged in slot 100. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.

The board had cheaper options than Mohamed Kamara at pick 106, and it noticed. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
