Boards are made to be trusted, and the Patriots shredded theirs for Noah Daniels. He came off 131 spots early, and the room will hear about it. Fine in stretches, shaky in others: a C.

Sanker at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. The trade table is where this weekend went wrong.

They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own.

Not a disaster, not a triumph, just a middling class.
