A costly weekend of dealing drags the Raiders to a D. The Sam Hartman pick is the one that will follow the Raiders into the fall. They took him 52 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so.
The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer. That Cowing pick is the receipt they will wave around later.
Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, edge rusher very much included.
