Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Vikings were there to profit. RJ Harvey, the No. 130 name on the board, should have been long gone before pick No. 179.

The Belton reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up.

They left with safety solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
