The board owed the Titans one, and it paid up: Gabriel Murphy, the No. 85 name on the board, sitting there at the Round 4 slot like a gift left on the doorstep. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped running back, which is a strange place to end up. Reaching for McMahon left real value on the table behind him.
