Draft Grade — Titans
Overall

FutureB-
Good, not great, for the Titans: B. The Titans went off the board in a big way for Kingsley Eguakun, 38 picks early. Conviction is one thing; this is another.
Spending an early pick on OLB-EDGE with edge rusher, running back and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Small wins on the phones, but wins all the same.
Offensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
Pick Analysis
Pick7
Rnd1
Brock Bowers
In No. 7 they get a red-zone target to build around at fair value.
Pick38
Rnd2
Kingsley Suamataia
A reach for Kingsley Suamataia in the Round 2 slot; a little patience would have been rewarded. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick106
Rnd4
Javon Solomon
Hard to square with the roster. With positions of obvious need still on the board, Javon Solomon adds an OLB-EDGE and leaves edge rusher, running back and other spots untouched.
Pick145
Rnd5
Javon Baker
A real head-scratcher, Javon Baker in pick No. 145 is miles ahead of his ranking. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick184
Rnd6
Kingsley Eguakun
Kingsley Eguakun at Round 6, Pick 9 is the pick scouts circle, and not in a good way. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick228
Rnd7
Sheridan Jones
A tidy little value on Sheridan Jones in pick 228, a step better than break-even. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
