The 49ers looked at the value chart, folded it up, and took Tanor Bortolini at Round 4, Pick 32 regardless, 85 picks early.

The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. With quarterback unsolved, spending premium capital on cornerback is the choice that costs them.

The McCormick value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. The trade work was a quiet net positive.
