The Bengals spent real capital to be 47 picks early on Xavier Thomas, and the board is going to hold them to it. A D that will need time and luck to look better.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. They punted on tight end, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. That is an offensive lineman worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.
