The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Patriots watched Omarion Hampton slide 38 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. It nets out to a B+, which feels about right.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Bassa has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

The Dallas Turner deal gives the class an established piece to lean on.
