Nobody dealt better than the Commanders this weekend: A-.

Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the Commanders spent the Round 7 slot on Trevor Keegan, a name most had 34 spots down the list. They executed a plan and it shows in the A-.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher.

That is a cornerback worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own.

Add it up and few war rooms did better this weekend, JC Latham and all.
