The Cowboys got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the D-.

The Cowboys spent real capital to be 71 picks early on Chip Trayanum, and the board is going to hold them to it. The math is unkind, and the D- follows.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped cornerback, which is a strange place to end up. The Sawyer pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged.

Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

A rough weekend that leaves the roster with more questions than answers.
