The board owed the Titans one, and it paid up: Max Melton, the No. 111 name on the board, sitting there at pick No. 144 like a gift left on the doorstep.

For all the activity, running back went untouched, which is hard to explain. The Watson pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. Offensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
