The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. Whatever Shedeur Sanders becomes, the front office has tied its fortunes to the answer.

They will regret leaving cornerback for another day if the season turns on it. Getting Wells Jr. where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.
