A costly weekend of dealing drags the Cowboys to a D.

The Roman Hemby pick is the one that will follow the Cowboys into the fall. They took him 54 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so. A D that will need time and luck to look better.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through tight end.

That Allar pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, tight end very much included.
