Draft Grade — Browns
Overall B-
ValueC+ NeedB+ TradesB- FutureB-
Nothing loud, just a tidy B- for the Browns.

For all the names on the card, the loudest question went unanswered. The Browns walked out of the weekend still thin at quarterback, a hole that has a way of deciding seasons. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

The Worthy pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. They left with edge rusher solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.

Pick Analysis
Pick54 Rnd2 Xavier Worthy
They went early on Xavier Worthy in pick No. 54, and the value did not follow. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick85 Rnd3 Brandon Dorlus
Good price on Brandon Dorlus in pick 85, a hair ahead of his grade with no real quibbles. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick156 Rnd5 Tykee Smith
No edge and no loss on Tykee Smith in the Round 5 slot; it is a wash and a sensible one. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick206 Rnd6 Steele Chambers
A tidy little value on Steele Chambers in the 206th overall pick, a step better than break-even. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
Pick243 Rnd7 Donovan Jennings
Donovan Jennings in slot 243 lands just on the right side of the ledger. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
