Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Taulia Tagovailoa at the Round 7 slot is 42 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline. More right than wrong, and a B- to match.

That cornerback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Stover.

On the needs board they went 5 of 9, with quarterback the one that mattered most. The offense got the lion's share of the attention.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
