No fireworks, just a tidy B for the Commanders.

The Commanders spent real capital to be 35 picks early on Theo Johnson, and the board is going to hold them to it. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.

That Jordan pick is the receipt they will wave around later. That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

The Commanders clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before. They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
