You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Chiefs did exactly that with Ryan Flournoy in pick No. 173. A mixed bag that lands at C+.

The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The Chiefs indulged a want in Newton while a need in quarterback stayed open.

Call it incomplete, and check back in a couple of seasons.
