When a board-topper like Cam Skattebo slides to pick No. 226, you do not overthink it, and the 49ers did not. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B+.

The McCoy reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. The dealing alone would carry a lesser class.

The 49ers indulged a want in Mukuba while a need in tight end stayed open. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through tight end.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
