If Hobbs pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher. On value alone, Johnson makes the weekend a net positive.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with quarterback chief among the fixes.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
