Draft Grade — Eagles
Overall B-
ValueC- NeedB+ TradesB- FutureB-
The Eagles robbed the room for Coleman. Final grade: B-.

The rest of the league will want that one back. Jonah Coleman tumbling to the Eagles in Round 5, Pick 11 is a gift they did not have to think twice about. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

The Siereveld pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. Leaving safety unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

They left with cornerback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. The offense got the lion's share of the attention.

Good work on the whole, with safety the one box left unchecked.

Pick Analysis
Pick22 Rnd1 Austin Siereveld
In the 22nd overall pick they get a blindside protector, a steep price for the projection. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick53 Rnd2 Jordyn Tyson
Steal is underselling it; Jordyn Tyson at the 53rd pick is a heist with the alarm still ringing. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick69 Rnd3 Dontay Corleone
Dontay Corleone at the Round 3 slot is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick98 Rnd3 Akheem Mesidor
Akheem Mesidor at pick 98 is the kind of overdraft that needs everything to break right. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick122 Rnd4 Chris Bell
Chris Bell in No. 122 should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick137 Rnd4 Nyck Harbor
A top-tier wide receiver at a bargain, Nyck Harbor in pick No. 137, plain and simple. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick151 Rnd5 Jonah Coleman
Taking Jonah Coleman in slot 151 is close to grand larceny; a running back that good had no business lasting this long. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick164 Rnd5 Jermaine Mathews Jr.
The board screamed and they did not listen, reaching into the next round for Jermaine Mathews Jr.. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick202 Rnd6 Jaren Kanak
Jaren Kanak at the 202nd overall pick is a clear overpay, with better names still on the board. It fills a real need, too.
Pick212 Rnd6 Bryce Boettcher
A linebacker of that caliber at pick 212 is the definition of value, full stop. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
