There is reaching, and then there is Barryn Sorrell at the 207th pick. The Commanders jumped the board by 105 and dared it to prove them wrong. It nets out to a B-, which feels about right.

That is a running back worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. The tight end spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
