Start where it matters. The Bears took Caleb Williams to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

They banked enough surplus on Holker to cover a lot of smaller sins. The Frazier reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade.

If Caleb Williams and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.
