The Falcons did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Theo Wease Jr. fell into the 244th pick. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Job largely done: offensive lineman settled and 4 of 8 of the wish list covered.

They chose more darts over a bigger single swing.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
