The Giants got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the D.

The trade table was where it all came apart. The Giants shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill. A D that will need time and luck to look better.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up. The veteran additions, Matthew Stafford chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.

In the end, a class the front office will want to grow past quickly.
