You can lose a draft before you make a pick. The Lions did it at the trade table, overpaying to chase players the board did not price nearly as high. A weekend that fought the value and lost, hence the D+.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher. Every board in the league had Zinter lower, and that gap is the story.

That is a cornerback worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and edge rusher is still a hole.
