BOZKIN35 DRAFTING FOR THEEagles
Draft Selections
Draft Grade — Eagles
Overall
B

FutureB-
The Eagles let Stowers fall and pounced. Final grade: B. You build a draft on nights like this. Eli Stowers had no business being available in No. 98, and the Eagles did the only sane thing and turned in the card.
They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes. The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
Pick Analysis
Pick23
Rnd1
Avieon Terrell
In the 23rd pick they get a press-man option on the boundary. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Pick54
Rnd2
Emmanuel McNeil-Warren
Emmanuel McNeil-Warren at pick 54 is the sort of value that quietly wins a weekend. It fills a real need, too.
Pick68
Rnd3
Jake Golday
Jake Golday at slot 68 is a sensible buy, a touch better than market for the edge rusher. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick98
Rnd3
Eli Stowers
A tight end of that caliber at pick No. 98 is the definition of value, full stop. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick122
Rnd4
Keylan Rutledge
No drama and no debate, Keylan Rutledge went about where he belonged in Round 4, Pick 22. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick137
Rnd4
J.C. Davis
J.C. Davis in No. 137 is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick151
Rnd5
Eric Rivers
Eric Rivers in the Round 5 slot is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick179
Rnd5
Kaleb Proctor
Value with a capital V on Kaleb Proctor in the 179th overall pick, a genuine coup. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick201
Rnd6
Oscar Delp
They stopped a slide they were happy to see, landing Oscar Delp in pick 201. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
